Terms and Conditions

By choosing Civic Collection Services Pty Ltd T/AS Accident Direct Australia (herein referred to as ADA) you hereby authorise ADA and its agents:

To appoint a licenced repairer to provide me with repair services for damages sustained to my vehicle which arose from the accident referred to in the claim form.
To appoint a qualified Motor vehicle Loss Assessor to complete an assessment to substantiate my losses.
If required by myself, to appoint or provide me with an accident replacement vehicle on credit.
If required by myself, to appoint a Towing company to provide me with towing services.
To appoint a recovery agent or solicitor to act on my behalf in relation to the accident referred to herein this claim form.
To enter into any verbal / written / cost agreement with any service provider which is required during the process of my claim, including but not limited to Motor vehicle repairers, Motor vehicle loss assessors, Solicitors, Barristers, Accident Reconstruction experts and etc.
To correspond with all relevant parties, including but not limited to other parties involved in the collision, subrogated and etc.
To engage in settlement discussions with other parties, including but not limited to other parties involved in the collision, subrogated insurers, recovery agents, lawyers and etc.
To make settlement decisions on my behalf.
To disburse the agreed service fee for accident management services to ADA upon receiving settlement monies from the at-fault party or its legal agents.
To receive, hold and disburse the settlement monies to credit service providers, such as repairers, assessors, solicitors, hire car companies as agreed with the at-fault party’s insurer.
Should the settlement be an all-in commercial settlement, the settlement monies will be disbursed by ADA as it deems fit.
To commence legal proceedings and prepare evidence such as statements, affidavits where it may be required.
I affirm that I will provide my full cooperation and that I have fully understood the nature of this Authority to Act.
I affirm that I will not negotiate / interact with any other party or make any other submissions or admissions that may jeopardize this claim.
I acknowledge that if I should withdraw this authorisation I will be responsible to pay for the full costs of repairs, hire car, towing, assessment, solicitor fees / recovery agent fees and other service fees incurred by me.
I hereby confirm that the information I have provided in the claim form is true to the best of my knowledge.
