How it works?

Accident Management

Step 1: Applying for repairs and rental.

If you have been in a car accident, you can apply online or call our team 1300 602 443. You’ll be asked to provide all relevant information regarding the incident for us to effectively process your claim.

If you are processing a claim online and are unable to provide us with all necessary information at the time of submission. We may contact you to get the additional details we need.


Step 2: Assessment and Approval

After we have received your application, the ADA team will help you get back on the road as quickly as possible after an accident. Approval is usually given within 24-48hours after receiving your application.


Step 3: Vehicle Drop Off.

Once you have received approval from our team, we’ll book you a time and date to drop off your vehicle at one of our branches. You will also receive the relevant documents to sign.

Once you have dropped off your vehicle we will organize an accident replacement vehicle for you to use during repairs.


Step 4: Vehicle Return

When using our accident replacement vehicles, you are expected to cover the expense of fuel, tolls (and their related administrative fees) and traffic or parking infringements (and their related administrative fees) as you would in your own car.

After your vehicle has been repaired or you’ve received a settlement, the ADA team will arrange a suitable time for the car to be dropped off or picked up.


Step 5: Cost Recovery

Once our vehicle has been returned, all costs are recovered of your repair and hire from the at fault party or their insurer for not-at-fault cases. In some cases, we may require your assistance in the recovery process. For at-fault or private accidents, costs can be recovered from your insurance or settled privately.
